Types of roles
Client services roles at Golley Slater cover all the different services we offer. People in these roles are the main liaison between our clients and the agency. They manage the client’s needs, set objectives, budgets and timelines, ensure that the agency’s best creative ideas shine through, and work to build and maintain strong relationships with clients that form lasting partnerships.
From copywriters and art directors who spark initial campaign ideas to graphic designers, videographers and animators who bring them to life, there are many roles for creative minds. They’re responsible for developing unique, engaging and effective campaigns and brands for our clients across TV, print, digital and social platforms.
Our production managers oversee projects from concept to completion. They manage the process of turning creative ideas into tangible outputs across paid, owned, earned and shared media, keeping an eye on timelines, coordinating schedules, managing internal resources and contracting external suppliers, such as printing and TV production companies. They are key to ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to client’s expectations.
Operational roles in advertising and marketing include IT professionals, who manage technology infrastructure and provide support to our teams; HR specialists, who handle recruitment, employee relations, and training; and finance experts, who oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting. These roles are essential to ensure the smooth functioning of the agency, supporting creative and client service teams, fostering a positive work environment, and managing the agencies financial health.
Performance and digital marketing roles include SEO Specialists, who optimize websites to improve search engine rankings; PPC Managers, who oversee paid advertising campaigns; Social Media Managers, who create and manage content across social platforms; and Data Analysts, who track and analyse campaign performance. These roles require analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of digital tools and trends to drive online engagement.
Planning and strategy roles in advertising and marketing are all about coming up with smart plans to hit client goals. Planners and strategists dig into market research, figure out what makes consumers tick, and use those insights to guide campaigns and reach the right audience. They work closely with creative and client service teams to make sure everything stays focussed on the desired outcome for the client. These roles need a mix of analytical thinking, creativity, and strategic smarts to solve a range of marketing challenges
